The first tip to elevate your reading experience is to organize your book collection. On your Kindle, organizing a book collection is quite simple. Just take these actions:

  • You can toggle the Group Series in the Library setting by going to Settings>Device Options>Advanced Options>Home & Library>Group Series.
  • Then, upon activation, every book in the series will be arranged collectively on your home screen beneath the first book’s cover. The lower-right corner will show the total number of books in the series.
  • Try updating the software on your Kindle by navigating to Settings. Device Options>Advanced Options>Home & Library> Update Your Kindle if you are unable to see this feature.
  • Turn off this function to have your books show in your library in the order that you would like them to be displayed.

Arrange Your Kindle Library with Collections

An excessive number of books can overtake Kindle, much like an excessive number of apps can clog your smartphone’s home screen. Our last tip is to make collections to keep everything organized.

Here is how to do it:

If you want to see your book’s cover as your Kindle screensaver, you may do so. But only if you have an ad-free model, like the Kindle Paperwhite cover. To do this, follow these steps:

  • On your Kindle, swipe down to access Quick Actions.
  • Toggle on “Display Cover” by selecting “All Settings”> “Device Options”> “Display Cover”.

However, you will need to go a different way if you have an ad-supported Kindle and would like to switch to an add-free version:

  • On the Amazon website, click “Manage Your Content and Devices.”
  • Locate your Kindle by selecting “Devices”.
  • After Selecting “Special Offers”, select “Remove Offers.”
  • A pop-up window will show the cost of removing ads. Then, click “End Offers” and pay the applicable amount.

This is how you install it:

  • Install the Kindle app on your iOS or Android device.
  • Make sure the app and your Kindle are set up for syncing. Swipe down on your Kindle device to get Quick Actions.
  • Next, make sure “Whispersync for Books” is activated by going to “All Settings”> “Device Options”> “Advanced Options”> “Whispersync for Books.”
  • Then, select “More” from the menu at the bottom of the Kindle app and choose “Settings.”

Once changes are applied to your Kindle and app, you can start up where you left off with your reading on any device.

Tip 4: Customize the Fonts on Your Kindle

If you are picky about fonts, you can use a different font on your ebook. Here is how you can customize it:

  • Find the toolbar at the top of the screen while reading a book.
  • Press the “Aa” symbol.
  • Choose “Font” followed by “Font Family”.
  • Select your preferred font and play around with the size and style of the text.
